----- What size are the individual graphic elements?
Every element has different size. The headers are about 4600x900px. The shapes are from 2000px to 4800px width. The banners are from 1600px to 2800px.
----- How can you open and edit the PNG files?
You can use Paint, GIMP utility, Inkscape, Adobe Photoshop, different online editors and many other tools.
----- How can you open and edit the PSD files?
To edit premade logos you have to use Adobe Photoshop. You can download free trial from the adobe website.
