If you take a look at the product's description, it indeed says that the file is intended for Adobe Photoshop CC 2015 – CC 2019 versions, that's because these versions still have 3D smart layers feature enabled. For all the newer versions, Photoshop disabled this feature, unfortunately. 3D smarts allowed applying seamless designs to the complex angled surfaces, like lanyards, which becomes quite problematic with regular smart layers. Anyway, you can try installing the older Photoshop version, or try the following: Open Photoshop and go to the Preferences menu, look for the 'Technology Previews' setting. In the 'Technology Previews' settings, enable 'Deactivate Native Canvas' After enabling 'Deactivate Native Canvas', please, reload Photoshop for the changes to take effect. Once Photoshop is reloaded, the 3D settings will be enabled again.  Important Note: Enable 'Deactivate Native Canvas' only when working with mockups that have 3D smart layers. Hey Tatyana, I recently got this lanyard mock up from you and I was under the impression it was going to work in Photoshop 2024. Sadly it does not and when I double click on the 3d layer it doesn't even show any modifying features on the 3d panel. Not sure why that's the case, is there any way to edit this file in current versions of photoshop?

Super Cluster Hi! I am sorry you faced this issue. There is information in the description that this mockup needs 3d for work. 3d here helps to add design without using many smart layers and it allows us to place it according to the shape and make it realistic.

Also, your tip doesn't work in PS CC 2020...

why making 3d for PS? :/ This is highly disappointing since all other mockups on Yellow Images are regular PSD smart objects... This doesn't work, and is making the necklace black whatever Ì do... Please stop uploading stuff like this, follow other designers' work....

Oliver Nasralah hi! What photoshop version do you use?

This mockup will not work. Any edits made to the 3D layer result in a black color output - no matter what. Very frustrating.
