Search Platform Engineer

Job Summary

Responsibilities

• Prior work on search technology and information retrieval systems
• Development and maintenance of proprietary search engine
• Collaboration with teammates to bring features all the way from ideas to reality

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional experience building scalable search systems
• In-depth knowledge of Elasticsearch engine
• Experience working in Automated Content Recognition
• Comfortable with cloud services such as AWS and GCE
• Proficiency in the following languages: Java, Node.js
• Proficiency in version control (Git) and building scalable applications
• Fluent Russian and English languages

It will be an advantage if you have

• Knowledge of tools Kibana, Logstash
• Experience with MySQL, PostgreSQL, and RabbitMQ deployments
• Familiarity with other SQL/NoSQL databases, such as MariaDB, MongoDB, ClickHouse, etc.
• Experience with MVC frameworks
• BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science or related subjects
• Knowledge of Agile Methodologies
